Write about baking, run a mill or teach bread classes? You can put our free sourdough schedule calculator or pizza dough calculator on your own page. Your readers plan their bake without leaving your site, and there is nothing for you to build or keep up to date.
Sourdough schedule calculator
Paste this code into the HTML of your page, where the calculator should appear:
<iframe src="https://loafandlevain.com/embed/" title="Sourdough schedule calculator by Loaf & Levain" width="100%" height="900" style="border:0;max-width:960px;" loading="lazy" referrerpolicy="strict-origin-when-cross-origin" allow="clipboard-write"></iframe>
<p>Sourdough schedule calculator by <a href="https://loafandlevain.com/">Loaf & Levain</a></p>
Pizza dough calculator
<iframe src="https://loafandlevain.com/embed/pizza/" title="Pizza dough calculator by Loaf & Levain" width="100%" height="900" style="border:0;max-width:960px;" loading="lazy" referrerpolicy="strict-origin-when-cross-origin" allow="clipboard-write"></iframe>

Height (optional)
The widget is about 900 pixels tall in the code above and scrolls inside its frame when there is more; on a phone the full schedule is 3,000 to 5,000 pixels. If your site allows scripts, add this once on the page and the frame grows with its content:
<script>
window.addEventListener('message', function (e) {
if (e.origin !== 'https://loafandlevain.com' || !e.data || typeof e.data.llEmbedHeight !== 'number') return;
document.querySelectorAll('iframe[src^="https://loafandlevain.com/embed/"]').forEach(function (f) {
if (f.contentWindow === e.source) f.style.height = Math.min(Math.max(e.data.llEmbedHeight, 400), 20000) + 'px';
});
});
</script>
What your readers get
The same calculator as on this site, with the same fermentation model: a schedule from feeding the starter to baking, a calendar file and the °C/°F switch. Step alerts in the browser need the full calculator on our site. The widget has no ads, no newsletter sign-up, no product offers and no affiliate links. A line at the top says "Powered by Loaf & Levain", links to our site and to our privacy policy, and says that the times are predictions from our model. The widget is in English.
Terms
- The widget is free, on personal and commercial sites.
- Keep the "Powered by Loaf & Levain" line at the top of the widget visible: don't hide, cover or crop it.
- The credit line under the frame is welcome but optional. You may remove it or add rel="nofollow" to its link.
- Don't present the calculator as your own. Its times and amounts are predictions from our fermentation model, not measurements, and the widget says so.
- We count how the widget is used with Umami, without cookies. Each count includes the domain of the page the widget is on. The widget saves the reader's inputs only in their own browser. If your site has a privacy policy, mention that the page embeds a calculator from Loaf & Levain that works this way. More in our privacy policy.
- The widget is provided as is, without warranty, as far as the law allows. We may change, limit or stop it, or block it on a site. Questions: contact us.
